# Get your Google Keyword Planner export

Google Keyword Planner is Google’s free keyword tool inside Google Ads. It estimates how often people search for a phrase on Google.

You need a Google Ads account. Google lets you [create one without a campaign](https://support.google.com/google-ads/answer/6366720?utm_source=willthiseverwork&utm_medium=download&utm_campaign=aso_planner&utm_content=google_account_help), but requires completed account and billing setup to access Google Keyword Planner.

[Open Google Keyword Planner](https://ads.google.com/home/tools/keyword-planner/)

1. Open Discover new keywords and enter phrases that describe what your app does.
2. Select your country and language, and Google as the search network. Download CSV, TSV or XLSX.
3. Keep the original phrases and English column headers: Keyword and Avg. monthly searches.
4. Upload to [ASO Keyword Planner](https://www.willthiseverwork.com/aso-keyword-planner/?utm_source=willthiseverwork&utm_medium=download&utm_campaign=aso_planner&utm_content=export_guide). Review the filtered keywords; Mix, High, Medium and Low compare demand within your file.
5. Build three editable AI listing options, or edit manually. Copy Name, Subtitle and Keywords separately to App Store Connect. You can download a CSV and save a shareable link without a login.

Ranges are fine — tiers compare keywords within your file. Ranges such as 1K – 10K are preserved; midpoints are used for sorting and estimated totals.

Manual sorting is free. AI listings are free during launch, then $5 per app, per country. Paid checkout is not open.

Google search volume is not App Store popularity or ranking difficulty. Google volumes are estimates and include close variants.
