What happens to your data

Browser calculators
Will it pay back?, What is a customer worth? and Can you fund the wait? calculate in your browser. Their shared scenario is kept in your browser’s local storage so you can move between the three tools without entering it again. The scenario is not sent to Will This Ever Work by the calculators. Clear the site’s local storage in your browser to remove it.
App Growth Calculator and App Growth Strategist
When you use the App Growth Calculator MCP, the calculator endpoint processes the inputs you send to return a calculation. These can include commercial assumptions such as price, acquisition cost, conversion, retention, fees, refunds, budget and timing. Optional scenario names and provenance notes are free text. Do not include personal, confidential or sensitive information.
App Growth Strategist uses the same MCP for numeric scenarios. Its diagnosis instructions run in your AI client; the calculator endpoint receives only the tool call sent to it. The calculator does not create an account, use an application database or save scenarios. Inputs are processed in memory while the request is handled.
The MCP is hosted on Vercel. Vercel processes ordinary connection data to deliver and operate the endpoint. If you use it through ChatGPT or another AI client, that client processes your prompt, account and connection data under its own terms and privacy policy.
Review Intel
Review Intel has a separate notice because its web tool, connected AI routes and browser extension handle review searches and files differently. Read the Review Intel privacy notice and the extension privacy notice before using those routes.
ASO Keyword Planner: uploaded research and AI listings
CSV, TSV and XLSX files are read in your browser. Choosing “Build my listing” sends your research phrases and search volumes, optional app details, localization and word choices to our server. If you provide a public website or store link, our server retrieves a limited amount of page text as app context. An AI model on Amazon Bedrock receives that context, checks relevance and writes listing options. AWS and its model providers do not use these inputs or outputs to train their models. Bedrock may process these requests across AWS commercial regions.
We process unsaved research in memory. Listing results are temporarily cached in server memory and reused for up to 15 minutes to avoid repeating the same build; we do not write unsaved research, app details or listing results to our database. We keep hashed request and connection identifiers and usage counters to limit requests and cost. Our listing-build logs contain request identifiers, model and build-step names, retry counts, error codes, token counts and elapsed time. They do not contain phrases, app details, listing text or credentials. Choosing “Save & get a link” saves the data described below.
Manual sorting and editing are free. AI listings are free during launch, then $5 per app, per country. Paid checkout is not open. We track listing-build actions with fixed event labels, without app details or listing text. If an AI build fails, you can copy a prompt to use with your own AI tool; that provider processes the pasted text under its own privacy settings. Closing or refreshing an unsaved tab clears your browser work.
ASO Keyword Planner: saved versions
Choosing “Save & get a link” sends the target country, title, subtitle and keyword field for each localization, and your research phrases with Google volume to our server. These are stored privately on Vercel Blob. An unguessable link opens that exact version without an account. Anyone you share the link with can read it. Avoid saving personal or confidential information. Editing an opened version does not overwrite it; save again to create another link.
Saved versions remain until removed by the operator. To request deletion, contact the address below with your saved-version link. Do not send access codes or passwords.
ASO Keyword Planner: automatic research
When automatic research is enabled, the server retrieves your app’s public App Store description and derives starting phrases by code. DataForSEO receives the starting phrases, target country and mapped language for Google keyword data. Only the code-filtered shortlist and app context go to the configured AI provider for relevance classification. The current adapter uses OpenAI through Vercel AI Gateway; a separately configured Amazon Bedrock adapter is supported. Each provider processes data under its own policies.
The Google pull is saved privately for reuse for that app and country. Picking and combining words does not trigger another Google pull. Cached results, operational budget records and app context can remain stored until operator cleanup. A preview access code stays in page memory and is sent in a request header, never in an analytics event or saved link.
Payments and purchase access
For purchases through Paddle checkout, Paddle processes your payment and billing details. The planner sends Paddle an order reference for your selected app and country. Card details are entered in Paddle’s checkout.
We keep a private order record with the app identifier, country, Paddle transaction reference and payment state so we can provide the purchased access and handle refunds. Your browser saves a purchase key locally. A private purchase link can restore that access on another device; anyone with the link can use it. Keep the link private. The server stores a hash of the purchase key. The key is sent to our server in a request header, not to analytics or Paddle.
Payment status comes from server-verified Paddle notifications. Closing a checkout or seeing its success screen does not by itself unlock a purchase. Order records remain until operator cleanup, subject to applicable record-keeping requirements. For a purchase or access issue, contact support with the Paddle transaction reference; do not send your purchase key, passwords or card details.
Where PayPal checkout is offered, PayPal processes the payment and billing details in its own checkout. We keep the selected app and country, PayPal order and capture references, payment state and a hash of the private purchase key so we can provide access and handle refunds. Your browser stores the purchase key locally. Our server verifies payment before unlocking AI listings. Refunds, reversals or disputes remove the affected paid access. We do not send your keyword research or listing text to PayPal, and payment identifiers and purchase keys are excluded from analytics.
Launch notification email
If you ask to hear when a paid software option opens, we collect your email address and consent time in private Vercel Blob storage. The email is used for that availability notification. It is not sent to Google Analytics. This form does not create an account or take payment. Request removal at the address below. Email records remain until the notification process or an operator deletion removes them; no automatic deletion period is promised.
If you join a waitlist, such as the one for Review Intel Pro, we store your email address only to tell you when that product opens. We do not share it. To have it deleted, ask support@willthiseverwork.com.
Website protection and analytics
Private server records may use a keyed hash of a network address to rate-limit AI listing builds, saved links, email and checkout requests. Hosting providers may separately log ordinary connection details.
On the production website, Google Analytics records page visits and fixed actions such as navigation, tool openings, offer views, successful email submissions, keyword planning completions, copies and downloads. Checkout starts and server-confirmed purchases may also be recorded when checkout is enabled. Test payments and pending payments are not recorded as completed purchases.
Custom event parameters do not contain your email address, calculator values, keywords, app description, app identifier, access code, saved-link token, purchase key, transaction reference, free text or metadata. Analytics page URLs exclude query strings and fragments. Local and preview pages do not send production analytics.
Partner link
ASO Keyword Planner may link to Astro for keyword tracking. We may earn a commission. Copying or downloading a tracking list does not send it to Astro; you choose whether to import it there.
Your choices and requests
You can use the free tools without an account, clear locally stored calculator data in your browser, avoid optional free-text fields, and choose not to send personal or confidential information. You can limit Google Analytics through your browser settings or Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
